01

Permissions checked on the server

The API verifies identity and authorization for each protected operation. Hiding a screen option is not the security boundary: the server also controls access.

Passwords and sessions

03

Scope by role and academic relationship

Profiles and relationships to courses, enrollment and students define available functions. Student access requires an active enrollment.

04

Authenticated file access

Protected resources and evidence are requested through the authenticated system. Storage location depends on the school’s configured file service.

05

Backups and recovery

Administration supports data export and restoration. Restoration validates backup integrity and creates a backup beforehand; backup storage must be configured.

06

Infrastructure under school control

The system can run on school infrastructure. Deployment determines data and file locations, HTTPS connections, network access and backup policy.
